GENERAL RULES

1. Profane language and/or unruly conduct will not be allowed or tolerated in or around pool property

2. No running on deck or around the area of the tables

3.  Running will be permitted behind the swings and wading pool

4. No eating or drinking on the deck or in the pool (All food  must be consumed in the grassy area or under the pavilion)

5. No sitting on the tables

6. No misuse of chairs, umbrellas, tables, or light poles

7. No climbing/jumping any fence in or around the pool

8. No chewing gum within the pool area

9. No squirt guns in the pool area

10. No littering (Please dispose of litter in trash cans)

11. No glass containers or bottles in the pool area

12. Telephone will be answered only by the staff

13. Only staff will be allowed in the office

14. No talking to guards while they are in the chair

15. No using or climbing on guard chairs except by the guard

16. No use of safety equipment except by staff

17. No towel snapping

18. Smoking is prohibited in the pool, on the deck, and in the bathhouse

19. No alcoholic beverages permitted on pool property

20. All children under the age of ten must have ADULT SUPERVISION unless they pass the swimming test given by the guard staff

21. All swimmers under the age of 12 wishing to use the 5 feet, well, diving boards, or tube slide MUST pass the swim test given by the guard staff

 

POOL RULES

1. No pushing or pulling anyone into the pool

2. No diving off the shoulders of another person

3. No dive/jump over the hand game

4. Ladders are used for entering and exiting the pool

5. No balls allowed in the water (excluding small sponge balls)

6. No sitting or hanging on the ropes in the pool

7. No using ropes as ladders to exit the pool

8. No removing drain covers or skimmer lids

9. No cartwheels, handstands, etc. into the pool

10. No throwing rocks in the pool or pool area

11. No sailor dives

12. No back dives from the edge into the pool (Back dives will be permitted from the diving boards)

13. No spitting water

14. No diving in the 3 feet

15. No dunking, horseplay, or wrestling in the 3, 4, and 12 feet

16. No body slams, ½ nelsons, or full nelsons

17. No dunking by the head or neck

18. No flotation devices of any kind permitted in the pool

WADING POOL RULES

1. No one over the age of six allowed in the wading pool

2. Children in the wading pool must be supervised by an ADULT

3. No diapers in the pools (Please ensure that your child has on a “SWIM diaper”)

DIVING BOARDS (All swimmers 12 and under using the boards MUST pass the Swim Test)

1. All swimmers under the age of 12 using the diving boards MUST pass the swim test given by the guard staff

2. One bounce on the board

3. Everyone must go straight off the boards

4. No sitting to jump or dive

5. No handstands or cartwheels

6. One person on the board at a time

7. Person preparing to dive must first wait for the exit of the previous diver from the well

8. While the boards are open the well is off-limits to swimming; While the well is open the boards are off-limits to diving

9. No goggles, glasses, masks, water wings, or flotation devices will be worn on the diving boards

10. If there is nobody in the well or going off the dives, then the person(s) wanting to use the well or dives must ask if the boards or well are open

11. No hanging on the fill spout under the low board

12. No hanging on the boards

13. No crisscrossing

14. Any person using the diving board or well may be called upon to demonstrate their swimming ability

 

TUBE SLIDE

1. All swimmers under the age of 12 using the diving boards MUST pass the swim test given by the guard staff

2. All swimmers using the slide MUST remain seated at all times

3. All swimmers MUST enter the water Feet First

4. One person on the slide at a time

5. No jumping into or down the slide

6. Upon entering the water from the slide, swimmers MUST immediately clear the water entry area for the slide

7. The person preparing to use the slide must first wait for the previous person to clear the slide area

8. The water entry area for the slide MUST be kept clear of swimmers at all times

9. No goggles, glasses, masks, water wings, or flotation devices will be worn on the slide

10. No hanging on the slide tube

11. No climbing under the slide tube

12. Any person using the slide may be called upon to demonstrate their swimming ability​

BATHHOUSE RULES

1. No ball playing will be allowed in front of the bathhouse, against the bathhouse, or in the bathhouse

2. No playing with the hoses

3. No playing in  the bathhouse or in the showers

SWINGS AND ANIMALS

1. Only ages six and under are permitted on the baby swings

2. Only ages 10 and under are permitted on the animals

3. Only one person on a swing or animal at a time

4. No twisting on the swings

5. No standing on the swings or animals

6. No climbing on the swing set
